The mission of Khalsa Media Services is to spread Sikhi and help uplift Gursikhs in need. Khalsa Media Services aims to build a society of Equality, Love and sharing.
We take a pride in following the principle of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, where every Sikh is encouraged in:
1)Naam Japna (Mediation of Vaheguroo)
2)Vand Chaknaa ( Community Sharing)
3) Kirat Karni (Honest Living)
On the same principle of
ਗੁਰ ਸਿਖਾ ਇਕੋ ਪਿਆਰੁ ਗੁਰ ਮਿਤਾ ਪੁਤਾ ਭਾਈਆ ॥
The Guru loves all of His GurSikhs equally well, like friends, children and siblings.
We believe it’s our responsibility to reach our brothers and sisters and treat them as our own family. The world is full of challenges and everyone is struggling, but there are some who are struggling for the basic needs like food, clothing, and shelter. We believe that Vaheguroo will guide us and help us in picking the programs that can uplift our brothers and sisters in need. Khalsa Media Services wants to help children and families around the world in getting quality education so that they can make an honest living and help their own communities.
Khalsa Media also sees a great need in the Sikh world, in that our children are going away from the GurSikhi lifestyle. To promote the GurSikhi lifestyle, we want to develop multimedia applications, write books from Sikh history, which helps children, and adults live a Gursikhi lifestyle. We want to create an Internet TV channel that is aimed at Sikh Values, Sikh youth challenges, Sikh issues and Panthic Unity. We want to conduct Khalsa Camps in the USA, which teaches the youth Sikh values, by conducting workshops, lectures from noted speakers and also create a serene environment filled with peace and tranquility.
Khalsa Media will help Sikh youth learn the Sant (Saint) & Sipahi (Sipahi) way of life given to us by our Sixth Guru, Guru Hargobind Sahib ji, who wore two swords, one symbolizing Miri (Martial) and other Piri (Spiritual).
We have seen that our Sikh youth are going away from these values and also forgetting the concept of Sewa. Nishkaam Sewa (Selfless service) is one of the important concepts of Sikh lifestyle. Bhai Kanhayia ji spent his whole life doing selfless service without discriminating against religion. There is a story from life of Bhai Kanhayia ji that during a battle between Sikhs and Mughals, He was seen giving water to injured Mughal soldiers, someone complained Guru Gobind Singh ji that Bhai Kanhaiya jee was giving water to the enemy. When Guru Sahib asked Bhai Kanhayya ji, He said you told me to see Vaheguroo in everyone, I see Vaheguroo in the enemy also. Guru Sahib hugged Bhai Kanhayiya ji and said that only Bhai Kanhayia jee has learnt the meaning of selfless sewa.
We do ardaas in front of Guru Sahib that Guru Sahib help us in our mission.
Vaheguroo Jee Kaa Khalsaa
Vaheguroo Jee Kee Fateh!
